Jack Ryan, the action hero created by novelist Tom Clancy, returns to the big screen in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, now with Chris Pine playing the part, having been played by actors such as Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck in the past.

Although a young face is a logical decision considering that in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit you'll know Jack's first steps as a CIA agent, recruited by them after Ryan, in his work as a Wall Street executive, has lifted the lid of a meticulously planned plot to sink the American economy and wreak havoc worldwide in a conspiracy, as you'll see in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.

The CIA agent decides to recruit him as an analyst, after checking that he's the only man capable of preventing the plan from being carried out. But soon Ryan gets immersed in the action, in a world of growing suspicion, deceit and unusual violence. Caught between the official negotiator Harper (Kevin Costner), his girlfriend Cathy (Keira Knightley) and a haunting Russian oligarch (Kenneth Branagh, who also directs Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit), Jack will have to face a new reality in which he can't trust anyone, and in which the fate of millions of people depend on him discovering the truth.
